I would like to congratulate Sifu Lam as well. Though Sifu Gary Lam is unfamiliar to me - which is not because Sifu Lam isn't well known, but rather, because I'm quite new to ving tsun! - I'm glad that awards like these reach alot of people who study ving tsun/wing chun and shed some light on those who contributed greatly to spread the martial art of ving tsun/wing chun.

That said, thanks for letting us know Gert-Jan. I'll see to checking out Sifu Lam, and likely his material as well.

EDIT ---
Oh, I forgot to say that one of the links is 'broken'. Though it directs you to the gary lam wing chun website, it says it's temporarily unavailable. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon!

Hey Ernie!

Welcome on our forum brother and thank you for passing my congratulation on to Sifu Lam. It is just great to see it is going to the right person. His skill and knowledge is exceptional, but moreover he has a great personality.

And also thank you for your kind words to me! The feeling is absolutely mutual, I also gained a lot of energy from our conversations and training together. Your students are very lucky to have you as their coach (I won’t say the ‘S’ word, not to worry -_-), you are a very honest man and not exactly without skills yourself! Keep it going.

Take care buddy and talk to you soon.

GJ.
